Therapy for Stressful Relationships

Support for Individuals Who Struggle with Conflict in Friendships, Romantic Relationships, or at Work

When relationships are important to you, conflict can feel especially painful. Maybe you find yourself in the same kinds of arguments again and again. Maybe your reactions feel too big—or not big enough. Maybe you're constantly overthinking what you said, or walking on eggshells to avoid confrontation. Whether these patterns show up in romantic relationships, close friendships, or with coworkers, therapy can help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface and support you in creating healthier, more balanced ways of relating.

You don’t have to keep playing out the same old story. These patterns make sense, and they can shift.

You Might Relate If You...

  • Feel misunderstood or dismissed in conversations

  • Struggle to express your needs clearly, or tend to put others first until you burn out

  • Worry about being “too much” or “not enough” in relationships

  • Replay conversations in your head, wondering what you should have done differently

  • Notice similar dynamics repeating across different relationships

  • Experience tension or frustration with coworkers that affects your well-being or performance

  • Want closer connections, but fear vulnerability or rejection

My Approach

Relationship conflict is rarely about just the surface issue. Together, we’ll explore the deeper themes that might be playing out: old wounds, attachment patterns, family dynamics, or inner beliefs that shape how you communicate and respond. As we do that, I’ll also offer tools to help you:

  • Slow down and tune into what you’re really feeling and needing

  • Communicate more clearly and calmly

  • Set boundaries without guilt

  • Notice and shift patterns that no longer serve you

  • Strengthen your sense of self in relationships—whether with a partner, friend, boss, or colleague

I use a relational, insight-oriented approach, drawing from psychodynamic therapy. The goal is not just to manage conflict in the moment, but to understand yourself more deeply so you can show up in relationships in ways that feel more grounded, authentic, and aligned.
